The "Verde" office complex has been shortlisted for the Architect of the Year Award
The past year has been particularly significant for the development of the greenest office complex, "Verde." At the end of April, Building B was commisioned, signifying the full realization of the first project in Latvia by the Lithuanian investment management company "Capitalica Asset Management." The total investment in the sustainable A-class office complex exceeds €65 million, and it has already gained widespread recognition both locally and internationally.
This year has also brought significant recognition – "Verde" has been included in the list of finalists for the Architects' Union Annual Award. To highlight the unique architecture and innovations of the complex, a special video story was created. In the video, "Verde" architects – Andris Kronbergs and Jānis Zvejnieks from "ARHIS ARHITEKTI" and Reinis Prēdelis from "AROUND architects" – share stories about the project's creation process and philosophy.
The architecture of "Verde" stands out in the urban environment with its impressive columns, which lend the building a sense of monumentality, and lush greenery that seamlessly integrates into the courtyards, interiors, and terraces. These design solutions not only enhance the building's visual appeal but also promote employee well-being and a sustainable working environment.
