“Verde” Building B wins the “Best Buildings in Latvia 2024” sustainability award

“Verde” achievements were recognized in the competition “Best Building in Latvia 2024”, where the B building was awarded 1st place in the category “Most Sustainable Building – New public building 2025”. Submissions were received from Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia, and the recognition of “Verde” confirms that the building has become one of the most significant sustainability benchmarks across the Baltics.

The event is organized by the Latvian Builders Association and the Latvian Association of Civil Engineers in cooperation with industry organizations and academic institutions, and the aim of the competition is to promote construction quality and highlight the best buildings in Latvia and abroad.

Iveta Ardava, Commercial Director of „Verde“, emphasizes: “The sustainability award is a high recognition of the project team – the project owner “Capitalica Asset Management”, the developer “Capitalica Industries”, the architectural teams “Arhis Architects”, “Around Architecture Studio” and “Zala Landscape Architects”, as well as the supervisors “Forma 2”, who together have created a modern, energy-efficient and publicly accessible office building. This achievement affirms “Verde’s” green vision – to create an office complex that inspires, brings added value to businesses and the city, and serves as an example of how sustainable construction can contribute to the development of society.”
