Connecting Skanste with historical centre
Considering the unique location of Verde, the underlining basic urban and architectural idea is to integrate the historical or Quiet Centre of Riga and the new development district of Skanste. The Verde office complex includes plans to connect green structures with the principles of openness and transparency in the modern architectural solution, thus freeing up and clearing ground-level outdoor space for public use and pedestrian crossings on Skanstes and Hanzas Streets.

A total of 375 underground and above-ground parking spaces are available for the convenience of employees and visitors. The spacious and easily accessible parking facilities provide Verde’s tenants and visitors with a convenient parking solution while allowing them to fully enjoy the beautiful green spaces surrounding the building. To support lower carbon emissions, Verde provides 20 electric vehicle charging stations located in and around the building.
Due to Verde’s proximity to the historic centre and the bicycle paths approaching from the direction of Sporta Street, cycling is another convenient mobility option. In total, Verde provides 100 bicycle parking spaces, 75 of which are located in private storage rooms. Showers and lockers are available next to the bicycle storage area.
