"INDEXO Bank" central office to be in the "Verde" office complex

IPAS "Indexo" (hereinafter - INDEXO) has signed a long-term lease agreement with the "Verde" office complex (hereinafter - Verde). According to the agreement, both the INDEXO pension management company and the central office of the INDEXO new bank will be in the office building. The INDEXO team will occupy the entire 4th floor of the A building, covering an area of over 1500 m2. Additionally, the future INDEXO Bank customer service centre will be located on the 1st floor of the B building, with an area of around 150 m2.

"We wanted to find a modern, eco-friendly space for the INDEXO team that would provide extensive functional possibilities, such as facilitating collaboration among all company employees on a single floor of the building, as well as easily accessible spaces for the future INDEXO Bank customer service. A modern and friendly work environment is crucial for attracting new employees, which is particularly important for us as we develop the new INDEXO Bank," says Valdis Siksnis, Chairman of the INDEXO Board and one of the founders.

INDEXO chose its new office from among 12 different alternatives after a detailed evaluation of various factors. The company's team plans to move to Verde this summer.

"We are truly pleased that we have concluded the first long-term cooperation agreement of 2024 with INDEXO - one of the most ambitious players in the Latvian financial industry. This deal significantly expands our tenant portfolio in the financial category, strengthening the potential of the entire Skanstes business quarter to become the main financial and technological hub in Riga. INDEXO's office will be set up on the 4th floor of the A building starting this summer, and we especially look forward to the opening of the new INDEXO Bank customer service branch on the 1st floor of the B building," says Iveta Lāce, Commercial Director and Board Member of the "Verde" office complex.

Ēriks Bergmans, Partner, and Head of the Agency at "Colliers Baltic," adds: "We are delighted that INDEXO is joining the Verde business centre community. This will undoubtedly contribute to the positive progress of both the entire Verde complex and INDEXO, as their sustainable development vision is based on similar values and goals."

As previously reported, since mid-2022, INDEXO has been developing the project for the establishment of a new bank, and the Bank of Latvia is currently reviewing its licensing application. Throughout 2023 work has been completed on a secure and modern banking IT infrastructure. INDEXO Bank's mobile application has been developed with all necessary integrations for an impeccable customer experience. Additionally, fundamental products for individuals have been created, including current accounts, payments and cards, savings accounts and deposits, loans and, of course, convenient administration for third-pillar pensions. Upon receiving the license, INDEXO Bank will commence its operations serving individuals, while services for businesses will be developed in 2024.
